Thank you for choosing Famous Desert Safari. We aim to provide safe, enjoyable, and memorable desert experiences for every guest. These Terms & Conditions outline the guidelines, limitations, responsibilities, and operational standards governing all bookings with us. By booking any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
1. Definitions
1.1. “Company” refers to Famous Desert Safari, including its staff, contractors, and service providers.
1.2. “Guest”, “Client”, “Customer”, “Participant” refers to anyone booking or participating in our services.
1.3. “Tour” refers to any desert safari, adventure activity, event, or service provided by us.
1.4. “Large Group” refers to any booking of 15 or more guests, or any booking requiring special arrangements.
2. Booking & Confirmation
2.1. Bookings may be made through our website, WhatsApp, email, or authorized agents.
2.2. A booking is considered confirmed only after written confirmation is sent by our team.
2.3. The Company may request additional information (pickup location, names, number of guests, health conditions).
2.4. Prices, inclusions, and itineraries may vary depending on season, availability, promotions, or weather conditions.
2.5. All bookings are subject to availability.
3. Payments & Deposits
3.1. Payment may be made in cash upon pickup (for regular tours), or online/bank transfer where applicable.
3.2. The Company may require full or partial payment in advance for certain tours.
3.3. Prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise stated.
3.4. Any costs related to bank transfer charges, currency conversion, or payment processing fees must be paid by the customer.
3.5. Large Group Bookings:
- Require 50% advance payment via bank transfer or cash.
- A detailed formal quotation will be issued.
- Specific terms (timings, cancellations, transportation, menu options, activities) will be agreed in writing with the group organizer.
- Remaining 50% shall be paid before or on the day of the tour, depending on the agreement.
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
We aim to remain fair to both the company and guests.
4.1. Cancellation by Guest
- 24 hours or more before tour: Eligible for full refund or rescheduling (subject to availability).
- Less than 24 hours before tour: No refund.
- No-show without notice: No refund.
4.2. If the guest misses the pickup due to delay or unavailability at the scheduled location, it will be treated as a no-show.
4.2. Cancellation by Company
The Company may cancel or postpone the tour under circumstances including:
- Bad weather (sandstorm, rain, extreme heat, fog)
- Safety concerns
- Vehicle issues
- Government restrictions
- Operational issues or unexpected conditions
In such cases:
✔ Guests must choose either to reschedule to another available date OR receive a full refund.
❌ No free extra trip or compensation beyond refund/rescheduling.
❌ Company is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred (hotels, transport, flight changes, etc.)
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method and may take 5–15 business days depending on banks/payment gateways.
6. Health, Fitness & Participation
6.1. Guests must ensure they are physically fit to participate.
6.2. The Company must be informed of any medical conditions at the time of booking.
6.3. The following guests should not participate in dune bashing:
- Pregnant women
- Guests with back, neck, or serious joint problems
- Guests with heart diseases
- Guests recovering from surgeries
- Infants or young children (as per safety policies)
6.4. Guests with medical conditions may join the tour but must avoid high-intensity activities.
6.5. The Company is not liable for injuries caused by undisclosed medical conditions or guest negligence.
7. Safety & Conduct
7.1. Guests must follow all instructions from drivers, guides, and camp staff.
7.2. Seat belts must be worn at all times during dune bashing and off-road driving.
7.3. Reckless behavior, misuse of equipment, or failure to follow safety guidelines may result in removal from the tour without refund.
7.4. The Company reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone under the influence of alcohol or substances.
8. Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy
8.1. Pick-up is provided only from designated areas. Also Pickup & Drop offs are also provided by company from guests residence. The pickup type is mentioned in the tour package.
8.2. Guests must be ready at the agreed time; drivers may wait up to 10 minutes.
8.3. Failure to be present at the pick-up location will be treated as a no-show.
9. Personal Belongings
9.1. Guests are responsible for their belongings (phones, bags, wallets, cameras, etc.).
9.2. The Company does not accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
10. Photography & Media Usage
10.1. Photos/videos may be taken during the tour for safety, documentation, or promotional use.
10.2. Guests who do not wish to appear in media must inform us in advance.
10.3. Guests may take personal photos and videos as long as they do not disturb others or breach camp rules.
11. Third-Party Activities & Vendors
11.1. Activities such as quad biking, dune buggies, falcon photography, horse riding, or shisha upgrades may be operated by third-party providers.
11.2. Prices, safety measures, equipment, and service quality of third-party vendors are not controlled or guaranteed by the Company.
11.3. Participation in third-party activities is solely at the guest’s own risk.
12. Children Policy
12.1. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
12.2. Infant seats must be requested in advance (limited availability).
12.3. Certain activities may have age restrictions for safety.
13. Liability Disclaimer
13.1. All activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.
13.2. The Company is not responsible for:
- Natural hazards or environmental conditions
- Injuries arising from guest negligence
- Loss of personal items
- Delays due to weather, traffic, or government regulations
- Actions of third-party operators or vendors
13.3. While we maintain the highest standards of safety, guests acknowledge that desert adventures involve inherent risks.
14. Disputes & Governing Law
14.1. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
14.2. Efforts will first be made to resolve disputes through communication before legal action.
